Chia and cashew hugs for everyone

"Feels like a warm hug" is an expression that normally will make me cringe. But in this case, it's true. And I will use it to describe the oatmeal that I've just had for breakfast. You will have to prepare it the night before, but the morning after you will be thankful that you did.

Before you go to bed, stir together 4 tbs chia seeds, 2 dl oats and 3/4 dl chopped cashew nuts. If you like, you can also add goji berries and other dried stuff that will get big and mushy. I also added some vanilla sugar as the soya milk can have a slightly bitter taste. Add 4,5 dl of your preferred milk, I've used half almond milk and half soya milk. Stir for a minute, cover and place in the fridge. In the morning, slowly heat the oatmeal in a pan, adding more milk if you wish. Serve with berries and other toppings that you like. Now if this doesn't taste like a warm hug, we'll send over a nice and long virtual one.

Yours truly,

Emelie
