I'd like to share this recipe for a simple yet delicious way to enjoy fruits that are about to go bad. To bring back memories from your childhood, behold this super classic rhubarb (or what ever fruit you like) crumble. Oatmeal is almost gluten free (if you are intolerant to gluten, use gluten free oatmeal) and instead of wheat flour, you can replace it with a gluten free option. The sugar is optional.

Pre-heat the oven to 225° C. Mix 1,5 dl oatmeal, 1,5 dl flour, 0,5 dl cane sugar and 125 g butter with your hands to a grainy dough. Add 500 g fruit (mix, stay simple, get creative) to a buttered ovenproof dish and sprinkle the grainy dough over it. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, ending with a few minutes on "grill". Serve with vanilla (n)icecream.
