Crunchy Granola

I make this granola because it smells sooooo good in the whole flat when I do. Also because we like our breakfast "skyr" with granola, and I find the stuff you buy in most supermarkets to be expensive and filled with unnecessary stuff.

Use this recipe and play with what you have at home or what you fancy.

CRUNCHY GRANOLA

What you need

  • 7 dl (gluten free) oatmeal
  • 2 dl almomds
  • 1 dl cashew nuts
  • 1 dl chia seeds
  • 0.5 dl sunflower seeds
  • 0,5 dl honey
  • 0,5 dl coconut oil
  • 0,5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 dl dried berries and/or fruits

    How to

Mix the honey with coconut oil, salt and cinnamon. Chop the nuts and add together with the sunflower seeds and chia seeds to the honey mix. Mix well and spread on a baking sheet with oven paper. Bake in the over on 170° C for 15-20 minutes, until golden. Stirr a few times. Let the granola cool down before transferring it to a jar with lid, mixing in the dried berries or fruit. I used dried pomegranate seeds, dried banana and dried cranberry.

Much love,

Emelie
